Treasurer's Report 

9/11/2007:  PTO APPROVED SPENDING FOR 2007-2008 SCHOOL YEAR

  • $ 3,000 approved for Cultural Arts
  • $ 1,700 approved for Field Trips
  • $1,400 approved for Scholastic Readers & Weekly Readers.  Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 4th & 6th grades have submitted requests.
  • $ 670  approved for the purchase of classroom rugs for Mr. Lockhart and Mrs. Barrett and also for necessary reading tools for Miss Truppa.
  • The remainder of the Current Year Annual Budget will be discussed & voted on at the next meeting - Oct 2, 2007 @ 6:30 pm.

 

 

For the 2006-2007 school year we held several different fundraisers including Bingo Basket raffle, Calendar Raffle, Cookie Dough, and Entertainment books. We ended the year Aproximately $3,000 over  our fundraising budget.  A couple of other ways we were able to raise money was through the collection of Box Tops, empty ink cartridges, and old cell phones.  Box Tops for education can be a very successful fundraising source for schools.  Please clip and save your boxtops.  Your participation in selling merchandise for the fundraisers was greatly appreciated. 

Some of the money raised went to offset costs of family events we held throughout the year.  Almost $3,000 went to our Cultural Arts Program.  Thank You to Darlene Sabol for all of her hard work. 

 

    

 

 

Don't forget to keep clipping those Box Tops.  Also, please continue to collect your used ink cartridges as well as your old cell phones.  Drop these items off at the school or send them in with your child...
